Mit ihrem eindrucksvollen Debütalbum PARTY ALBUM gehen FAMOUS auf EU-Tour. Als Teil der gefeierten Szene des Brixton Windmill im Süden Londons neben gefeierten Bands wie Black Country, New Road und Black Midi erlangte die Gruppe schnell Anerkennung für ihren grenzüberschreitenden Post-Post-Punk-Sound. Im BBC Radio One wurde FAMOUS als die originellste Band UKs bezeichnet.

"Das ist Post-post-Punk, ich höre im Hintergrund Lou Reed, da sind die Beatles. Geprägt von gigantischen Riffs, explosiven beats und unerbittlichen Keyboards ist "Party album" eine wahnsinnig dichte, intensive Ansammlung von neun Songs. Fette, körperbetonte Tracks, die richtig Dreck an den Stiefeln haben. Rock'n'Roll wie man ihn in unseren digitalen, KI-nahen Soundwelten mittlerweile viel zu selten hört.
Die Band prügelt den Frontmann durch die Songs und dieser revanchiert sich mit Geschrei und Geflüster. Ich wette, bei Famous-Gigs wird viel Bier getrunken, geraucht und kondensierter Schweiß rinnt am Beton hinunter.
